WHY

Atelier Armoure is 6 years old...

I began the adventure at the dawn of my 26th birthday, with so much energy and ideas that I spent an average of 10 hours a day sitting at the workbench, from Monday to Sunday. I was eager to learn and paradoxically, my technical shortcomings as a beginner gave me so much freedom. They allowed me to imagine my most beautiful relics, simple and poetic models, textured by accidents, which have moved many of you.

I sometimes have a little (a lot) of trouble receiving your suggestions for areas for improvement because Atelier Armoure is, for me, not just a brand but the project that anchored (established) me. Which gave meaning to my life, a reason for being for my overflowing creativity and in which I was able to burn this inexhaustible energy with the flame.

But I heard these proposals, digested them and transformed them into the next step to achieve.

Today I have more technique, a little more tools too, but I certainly don't want to change the foundations of AA: Singular textures, contrast, unique and authentic pieces.

I wish I could take the time to to leverage the breadth of my technical skills on each piece that comes out of my workshop. I want to offer you pieces that match these skills: more precious, more durable, more crafted and better textured. Of which I will be even more proud.

The final reason why the models must evolve is the exorbitant increase in the cost of gold. If I want to be able to continue making a living from my passion, I must increase the prices, and this increase will allow me to devote more time to each piece of jewelry and will be justified by an improvement in the quality and overall durability of the relics.

WHEN?

CONCRETELY?

The puzzle ring and the nomad stack

The puzzle ring is now adorned with a small gold plate which displays two A's on the small satin imperfect, the gold part is heavier with a more assertive and consistent texture from one ring to another.
The polished half-band ring will be polished better.

These details make all the difference and double my working time.

The nomad stack

The rings that make up the nomad stack will no longer be simple round and polished rings but will have a more organic and hammered shape with a slight enhancement at the level of the ornament (nuggets or setting of the saudade) for greater ease of stacking.

The gold nuggets and saudade come in 18K gold with a diamond-set option.

Stackers generally take a more organic, hammered shape for the band that makes up the ring body. Their ornaments are now slightly raised to facilitate stacking.
